Campbell House is pleased to announce the launch of the Urban Museum Collaborative website. The collaborative brings together three small, innovative museums in downtown St. Louis— the Campbell House Museum, The Eugene Field House Museum, and The Griot Museum of Black History. Through this initiative, the evocative collections and the stories contained within these museums illuminate the complex narrative of urban life in nineteenth-century St. Louis. Interconnected site-based programs, educational resources, tours, and community events let these stories come alive in dramatic new ways. Visitors of all ages become engaged in a “museum without walls” exploring, discovering, and learning in a dynamic and changing city.
Funded by the Missouri Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment of the Humanities.
