Annual Free Weekend

Friday, February 9 from 10:00 am to Sunday, February 11 from 4:00 pm

In cel­e­bra­tion of the 81st Anniver­sary of the open­ing of the Camp­bell House Muse­um (Feb. 6, 1943), Robert Camp­bel­l’s 220th birth­day (Feb. 12, 1804) and Vir­ginia Camp­bel­l’s 202nd birth­day (Jan. 25, 1822) — we will be offer­ing free guid­ed tours of the Museum. 

See our spe­cial exhi­bi­tionTying the Knot 150 Years of Wed­ding Fash­ions in its last few weeks before clos­ing. On Sun­day, Feb­ru­ary 11 we will also have a lec­ture on Black St. Louis at 2 p.m. Author NiNi Har­ris high­lights the rich and inspir­ing his­to­ry of African Amer­i­cans in St. Louis from the city’s found­ing as a French fur trad­ing post dur­ing the Span­ish colo­nial era to the new mil­len­ni­um She will present great fig­ures who showed lead­er­ship, incred­i­ble inno­va­tion, and courage despite the injus­tices they faced.

Our hours this week­end will be Fri­day and Sat­ur­day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sun­day from Noon until 4 p.m. (last admis­sion each day at 3:30).
